Hello
I have a bearded dragon that is 7 years old she is a female I also have a male that is the same age but are in separate tanks. This past week my female bearded dragon has been running around nonstop around the tank pooping here and there little poops and big poops and looks like her back legs kinda humping the ground I’m sorry if this sounds vulgar but it’s the best I can describe it. But then she stops this gets up and runs around it’s not MBD I had two different vets check. She doesn’t have parasites they said it might be stress but I don’t know what would be stressing her seven years shes been kept in this 60 gallon the heat light is the same and the uv light tube gets changed out every 5 months and I keep the male the exact same way and he is fine. So I don’t get this behavior she runs back and forth non stop I mean a full fledge run like on her fours and running but she does go to the corners and start doing a digging action while digging she will stop then wiggle her butt again that leg butt moving action I explained earlier. Then her vent opens up and she looks like she is trying to push something out but just little bits of poop come out. I read that she could be pushing out infertile eggs is this true? Have you ever seen this behavior yourself she doesn’t eat as much this week as she did last week I usually give her hornworms, waxworms, superworms, carrots, collards, apples but I give her hornworms the most, or is it diet is hornworms too rich for her stomach? I tried putting a cat litter tray in her tank with topsoil in it she wouldn’t go in it. Then I took this large storage bin and put two full bags of top soil in it and put a log on one side and clamped a heat light on the other maybe thinking if she would start digging and laying eggs I only had her in there for an hour I took her out because she wasn’t digging just jumping at the sides trying to climb out by grabbing the edge I didn’t want to stress her out more but I’m running out of ideas. I took her to the vet, read things up online, asked people at petstores and I can’t find anything. I worry about her moving around I can tell she doesn’t feel comfortable, I know your not a vet not asking to diagnose anything just wondering if you experience this or if you know the reason for this behavior when she sleeps she is completely fine. Oh and she has been head bobbing at me a lot something that she never does in the past.
Thanks
