Christina Miller CAHT/RVT, RLAT, BSc

Long-time veterinary technician and former zoo curator, Christina joined the Reptile Apartment team in the summer of 2014. A Montréal, Québec, Canada native, she completed her diploma in animal health technology from Vanier College in 2006, followed by a bachelor’s of environmental science (majoring in applied zoology) from McGill University in 2012.

Outside of clinical nutrition, emergency and critical care, and transfusion medicine, her greatest professional interest is reptile and amphibian husbandry and medicine. She is passionate about educating veterinary technicians as well as pet owners about these often misunderstood animals, teaching in guest lectures at Vanier College, at various conferences, and sometimes through pet care and vet tech magazine articles. Her other professional interests in veterinary science include nutrition (wellness and therapeutic), transfusion medicine, dentistry, and evolutionary biology.

Christina works as a registered veterinary technician at Companion Animal Hospital, a canine, feline, and exotics practice in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.
