Lillie Nyte | Inverts Unlimited

Lillie Nyte

Lillie is a passionate herp keeper with a love for all animals and an early aspiration to become a paleontologist. Although, she has only been keeping reptiles since 2003, her obsessive desire to learn everything she can about her animals has filled her brain to bursting with knowledge which she is dying to share. Starting with an attraction to the classic boa constrictor her main herpetocultural interests now lie with Pituophis species, Asian ratsnakes, Amazon tree boas, and Dumeril’s boas. Her main advice for beginning herpetoculturists is to always do your research first and to never stop learning.

Since 2011 she has also taken an active interest in invertebrates, particularly arachnids, and manages operations at Invertebrates Unlimited.

Lillie is the author of Invertebrate Interests and was previously the Herpetoculture 101 columnist for Herp House Digital Magazine. She runs various reptile related groups on Facebook including Dumeril’s Boa Lovers, Pituophis Enthusiasts, and Steppe Runner Keepers.

Lillie is the author of Invertebrate Interests and has written an article on Dumeril’s boas for HerpHouse Mag.
