Pomona Reptile Super Show 2011

At 4 A.M we hit the road headed north from our home for a two-hour drive. Most people in their right mind wouldn’t be on the road at this ungodly hour. This fact helped in that there was little to no traffic on the road which made for smooth driving to our destination. What you may ask; would draw someone from beneath the warm covers of bed to embark on a traverse of such lengths? It is of course dear reader none other than the Pomona Reptile Super Show. This show has been stated by many in attendance to be even larger than the Daytona Show. Daytona was once known as the largest reptile show within the United States and knew no equal, until now. We were granted press access and enjoyed speaking with many vendors prior to the shows opening to the public and they spoke candidly about how much they enjoyed the Reptile Super Show as vendors. When you can create a reptile show where the vendors are happy then you are guaranteed a successful show in our opinion. This was obvious by all the smiling faces we saw as we walked the aisles making inquiries for future interviews and speaking with vendors about their reptiles etc.

The Reptile Super Show welcomes all members of the community to the Pomona county Fairplex to purchase their new reptile, amphibian, or insect pet. Striding through the crowd we saw varying reptiles. Paradise Flying Snakes Chrysopelea paradisi, new morphs of Leopard Geckos Eublepharis macularius, Green Tree Pythons Morelia viridis, & some incredible Ball Python Python regius Morphs which captivated our attention with their patterns and colors. So if you want to have some fun and not break the bank do yourself a favor and come by the Reptile Super Show to share in the fun and learn about the reptiles, amphibians, and insects that make up the herpetoculture industry and see the faces behind the snakes so to speak. I guarantee you will enjoy your experience! Check out gallery of the show in the Reptile Photography Galleries.
