I met Chris Law through the social networks and invited him to do an interview in the Reptile Living Room regarding Crocodilians after exchanging ideas for a while which you can listen to here Chris Law of Crocodopolis. After the interview we stayed in touch and continued to exchange ideas etc and after an incident took place in the community where we were asked to back a less than savory character Chris and I decided to another interview about reptiles and responsibility which you can find here Reptiles & Responsibility: Chris Law of Crocodopolis. About a week or so later the responses were still flowing in regarding the support of the interview so I asked Chris to join the Reptile Apartment team and he agreed. There and then The Conscious Keeper was born. The Conscious Keeper will be written exclusively by Chris Law unless otherwise noted. He will be bringing a voice of reason to the herpetoculture industry through these articles which will not only cover the topics of responsible reptile keeping but will also include responses to events or situations that arise in the community.
