I go to a lot of shows and shops every year. Rarely do I hear the seller ask about the customers experience in the particular species they are purchasing. The onus is presumed by the buyer I agree. But shouldn’t we do our part as a seller of reptiles to make sure that the purchaser of our reptiles knows what they are getting in to when purchasing a reptile? Do we worship the all mighty dollar of the sale too much?
You arrive, pay the modest admittance fee and the reptile world quickly becomes your oyster. Walking through the doors you are immediately transported to the worlds largest reptile captive reptile collection where you will not only see the more common species of reptiles but now, you can see first hand all of those incredible color morphs you have read about in the magazines and books
One thing that did stand out to me was the amount of amazing quality Leopard Geckos (Eublepharis macularius) on show. Being a bit of a Leopard Gecko Lover myself I was like a kid in a sweet shop and had to go round every table about 3 times!
